53 m38a1 frame motor mount brackets well i picked up a m38a1 frame for $100 i notice it was missing the motor mount brackets where can i buy them ? thanks in advance _________________ Roy 53 M38A1 44 MB |

Thats a good sign that someone removed them for mounting a different engine. They were riveted in and I haven't seen anyone selling them alone. Usually a scrap frame is your only source unless you get lucky and find someone who still has them but went to a different engine and mount.
If it's any help the CJ5 & CJ6 use the same bracket.
Rt side:
Bracket Assy: ORD# 8677503, WO# 805552

Lt Side:

the bottom part of the rivet is still on the frame i would just fill in the hole with mig welder C and M is what i am looking for
