I overhauled my L 134 and am putting it back together. The Oil Tube was quite loose. Too small for me to use a muffler pipe expander so here is what I did, and I had to pound the tube back into the block after doing this jerry rig. Nice and tight. Perfect? Probably not.

1. I mounted the pipe in a vise, using a wood shim on the flattened area, and a couple of the old rod bearings on the curved side of the tube for support.
2. I wend through my sockets and found a 7/8 snap on that has a bit of a shoulder on it that fit in the tube.
3. I heated the tube with just my propane torch.
4. I pounded the socket into the tube using a big punch to rest inside the socket and a hammer.
5. I pounded the socket in until it expanded the pipe.
6. I removed the pipe and installed it in the block with a piece of wood and hammer.
