Trying to figure out the bumperette markings on my M38A1.
Right bumperette has USAR, left bumperette has A111. Other information is not readable. Researching Alpha Company Infantry 111, I found Penn., Army Reserve group 28th Div, A Co., 1st Battalion, 111th Infantry Division was the closest match. Can anyone tell me how would this be shown on the bumperettes and the front bumper? Is there anywhere you can find pictures of vehicles from this unit?

It seems that the closest match is 29th Div. Alpha Co. 111 Field Artillery in Virginia. Virginia is where I bought it and in talking to previous owner, He thinks it never left the Va. area. Can't find any other examples of markings from Army reserve. What info. is on the right bumperette vs. the left?

Thanks, Dave
