A while back I twisted one of the studs off of the spare tire carrier of my M38 and then the other day I did the same thing on my M38A1 (you would think a little experience would have been learned). Are these welded onto the carrier? Or press fitted? Are replacement studs available from the parts dealers?
Anyone with advice with replacing these would be appreciated.
Thanks, Kendall

Stud, spare WO# 674023

The wheel studs are Bolt, rivet type LH Thread WO# 649877 and RH thread WO# 649878

Look on the inside of your spare bracket and you should be able to see the weld beads.
