cleaning the crossmember on the m38a1 and notice the rubber mount was too bad to reuse. got it out and notice a cup was welded to the crossmember and appeared to be another cup that the mount set in.
?- does anyone have a illustrated breakdown or picture of this crosmember? thanks for any info |

thanks oldsalt, im taking it that the cup that is spot welded to the crossmember stays on and some how i need too get the other cup that had the rubber mount in it, out of the welded cup?
done of the manuals i have show the breakdown of the crossmember, so thanks for all the info. |

after cleaning the rust and parts of the rubber mount out of the cup i seen how it was. it reminded me of a race for a bearing, with some wd40 and a hammer it came out. thanks for the info guys. |
