as some of you may know im doing a frame off restration on my a1. and maybe you guys can chime in and give me your opinions.
just recieved my wiring harness and i have new fuel lines, would you installed the wiring and lines before installing the engine? or is it best to wait until the engine is installed.? thxs
The chassis related fuel lines rely on having the tub and tank installed to assure proper alignment and fit of the tubing. The lines on the engine need the engine in place.
The harness really needs the tub present to start stringing it. You can harness up the tub and let the frame run to the rear and fender run to the front wait until the tub gets installed on the frame. _________________ Wes K

After the initial harness stringing i used plastic zip ties to bundle
sub-harness assemblys that i wasnt going to deal with in the
prelim stage. That way you dont have wire hangin all over and
you can id the various subs for later install. _________________ keep 'em rollin'
