Is there supposed to be a rubber o'ring in the groove of the front axle hub?

ORD 9 SNL G-740, Group 13, calls out a "SEAL, "O" ring, syn-ru, 1-1/2 ID (front hub cap) (for service only)", P/N WO-804821 on p. 255. Doesn't give info on the OD or cross-section, but maybe you can figure that out from the size of the groove.

Thanks Jim,
I haven't seen a pictoral diagram showing that seal. Or any advertisement in the vendors sites showing they have them.
Maybe there is not a market now since most people change the hub out for lockout hubs.

That's good to know John. I was thinking about having a pair of the original hubs in my spare parts just in case a lock out hub went south while motoring.
