I have got my project M38 torn apart and am getting ready to start cleaning and getting it ready for paint and the such. I have never dealt with military jeeps before so i need some help on the paint department. Is everything painted OD or are there certain parts that are back or another color. I'm thinking everything, engine, trans, transfer case, frame is all OD but idf not I would like to know what isn't. Also does anyone know what the paint code for OD is. I normally use U-Tech which I'm hoping to use on this project. I haven't even asked my paint supplier yet but figured if I had a code that would help if they can't come up with anything.

Thanks,
Kevin

You can also refer to periodicals like "Military Vehicles Magazine" www.militaryvehiclesmagazine.com and the Military Vehicle Preservation Association's "Supply Line" www.mvpa.org for many parts and paint suppliers plus how-to articles.
