My carb runs great, but seems to leak a little fuel at the seals. Will it be OK to just replace the seals,or will opening it up to do this mean I will need to do a full rebuild? Thanks. Shawn
Depends a bit on which gasket or seals are leaking? I don't know of anyone selling a single seal or gasket so you will most likely have to buy an entire kit just for the seal or gasket that is leaking. _________________ Wes K

That narrows it down to two. The gasket between the air horn and the bowl (Carter 121-138 ORD# 7372514)and the gasket between the bowl and the throttle body (Carter# 121-222 ORD# 8329826).
The air horn to bowl gasket usually shrinks with age and requires an occasional re-tightening of the screws. Fuel leaking there is usually indicative of too high a float setting or a sticking closed float needle valve. _________________ Wes K
