Under the Hood is a 2.7L Mitsubishi 4DR5 Diesel.
This Engine was also used by Mitsubishi in some of their own Jeeps.
I had this exact same Engine in my Mitsubishi J54 which was itself a CJ3B copy ... |

Thanks everybody for the response.
As I suspected then, I have a GPW which has be made to
look like an M38.
The Photo's have also highlighted the fact that the Grill
has been changed as well. ... |

Hello to the Group from a Newbie,
I just aquired what I was told was an M38.
The Dash Dataplate is still attached and the delivery Date was still visable as 1.9.1952
The Jeep is Flat Fender and ... |
