Guessing from the CJ2A forum post the slotted washer and nut with set screws goes on top of the existing spindle bearing retainer nut.

Did find a photo, it is a pocket, looks to be short maybe less than 2 inch. So I'll have to weld tabs to tubing then spot weld to the tub and tack the drilled hole. I likely won't get to it till aft ... |

It's a repro tub that didn't have the holes. I will be welding in tubes (pockets) - I was figuring on using 30- 1/2. There's nothing much to the rods 3/8 rod. There's those measurements somewhere o ... |
