Bob, Have you reviewed the Army's procurement contracts which include spares on most of them. The Army would have needed parts on their supply shelves at least the same day the jeeps arrived.

The gasket was not normally available by itself. But it did come with the tranny seal kit. Ron F's kit stocks that gasket still. Oddly enough the TM 9-1804B parts illustration is incorrectly labeled. ...

Again. The safety concerneds I raised above are about operation on paved public roads in traffic and weather. I have never said the military tires are unsafe for their intended off road use!
