I would love to have a WW2 era MB or GPW to restore. I own a '61 buick lesabre as my toy project that I cruise around to car shows every summer, but I have always wanted to restore a WW2 Jeep.
I don't have a large budget so I am looking for something under $5,ooo to get started.
I am in Indianapolis, IN.

$5,000 should get you a pretty good WWII Jeep to start out with. Go over to G503.com and check out the MB GPW section. Post on the wanted forum over thier. Be patient and don't jump at the first crusty Jeep that comes up.
