I found the hood number on my m38 all in 2 inch
U.S.A.F
N-1346
Can anyone tell me what the N means? |

It is called Insignia Yellow, FS-33538. Check your local hobby shop a company named Testor's Manufactures a brand called Model Masters and carries it in Small Spray cans. It may be Flat finish, butthey sell a coating for both semi-gloss and gloss. (Before the eyes started to go I built 1/35 scale MV models)
This is my recommondation if all you are going to do is the hood numbers and such. Cost about $5.00 per can.
