hi
i started looking for a water pump for my M38a1
now a while back someone had told me that 99% of the engine, transmission, transfer, axels, brakes parts are the same as a 1955 CJ5
correct?
now napa can get me a water pump for $60
are their any vendors out there that can beat it?
regards

the water pump is the same as the cj5 , BUT......... the pulley is NOT and will not work with original 24v system, now if your jeep is 12v with one belt it should work fine, I doubt any vendors can beat 60.00 for a true m38a1 water pump

You can change pulleys though , just a lot of hassle for a couple of bucks and risk busting your new water pump housing if not properly removed with right tools |
