In the information I have,: TM-1804B, Fig.94 Steering gear assembly, sectional view, is not very clear.
The reason is, I want to see how the adapter for the horn switch.
In ORD 9 SNL G-740
GROUP 4101 PAG 269
No. 7375342: TUBE, OIL SEAL, W / ADAPTER ASSY
Composed of
7375150-1 ADAPTER
7375337-1 TUBE
Appreciate the sectional view more clearly, or photographs close up
and the diameter in inches of the rod that activates the switch.
the rod for the horn switch that goes through the steering column is readily available from most jeep parts suppliers.
what part are you looking for a cross section of?
The steering box as a tube that goes up through the bottow to the steering tube so as not to allow grease into the horn switch - most of the time anyway.
I don't remember exactly how long it is now and the later style horn button used a screw on adapter at the top the you can adjust - it is the part directly under the rubber button. _________________ Ryan Miller
