|
|
Hello,
I am looking for the "shutter" part of the grill blackout marker light cover, as a previous owner broke them. I need two. This is the part that is secured by the four tabs on the inside of the cover. I've attached a pic of the broken part I have:

I'm also looking for one screw that holds the B.O. driving light bezel on.
Any help locating these items would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

Looks like you are not using the actual photo URL or the photo you are trying to display is in an account that requires a password to access it. This is commonly called a "Private account" and will not let the web site share the photo. Generally you can go into your profile at the photo web site and make the album public or accessible by the public then it should work.
The front cover of your BO Marker Light is the Door PN 7729790. The door assembly with the lens is PN 7729791 and the lens alone is PN 7729789.
It was more common for the military to change the Door Assembly rather than struggle with the plastic lens insert. So you would probably find the door assembly easier to locate at an MV dealer. _________________ Wes K

Thanks for the info. Wes. I know I can find the complete doors for around $20 apiece. I just thought I could save some money if I can just find a couple inserts. I hate throwing away anything! |

Darn. I still can't get this to work. I'm using KodakGallery. I've posted on forums before using this and have had no trouble. I can't find any settings that allow the choice between public and private. Any suggestions? |

Ok, I switched to Photobucket. Here you go. I need the broken plastic piece secured by the four tabs. Thanks!

AFTER STUDYING THE METAL COMPOSITION OF THE DOORS
I THINK IT WOULD BE PRACTICALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO BEND
BACK THE TABS TO REMOVE THE BROKEN PLASTIC INSERT
THEN REBEND THEM BACK IN PLACE WITHOUT BREAKING
THEM OFF. YOU MIGHT CONSIDER THIS WHEN DECIDING TO
SEARCH FOR THE INSERTS ONLY OR THE COMPLETE DOORS. _________________ keep 'em rollin'
