Hello,
Will you help me to identify my M100?
I do not know why I have no case for the connection cable between the trailer and car.
I have a hole in the drawer, but I case holders.
Thank you Standa _________________ 1952 - M38

The M100 you have is a very stock Army unit. The box has been removed and the inter-vehicle cable is missing. The data plates on the front panel can be cleaned with DOT3 brake fluid which will not damage the plates but will lift the paint easily.
Here are a few of my notes on your photo:

I cleaned the plate and color.
Box was there. Someone removed.
The label should be the manufacturer: Dunbar Kapple
Serial number: 006379
Date of delivery: 1951

You will just have to shop the vendors. Ask for what you need by part number and stock number. I posted that info above last December.

This receptacle is not the same as the one on the back of the jeep. The one on the jeep has female sockets for the pins and the one on the trailer has male pins for the female sockets on the cable plug.
The plug end on the left goes in the trailer receptacle and the plug end on the right goes in the jeep's receptacle. _________________ Wes K

I have a few of the sockets that mount on the trailer as shown in last photo. They have male pins. New original $15. Just the socket, with pins and pigtail wires. No cover doors. Easy to mail to Europe. PM me for details.

My receptacle looks the same but has a part number 8376208 instead of the MS-number on the one in the photo. Many of these receptacles came without wiring, the rubber gland and rear nut; but mine have them. .... Brian
