This is my new question, I´m wondering about no elasticity of my M38, especially in curves. The M38 makes me feel riding a board...and I have no experience with other M38 Jeeps. I only have taken some trips on a Willys MB from a friend of mine and he feels much softer...
Are the shock absorbers much too old or is this the way how a M38 runs

The M38 is stiffer riding then the MB but not a lot. If the shocks are the correct lengths then they would not induce a ride like a board unless the springs are worn out and sagging a lot which would allow the shocks to bottom out. _________________ Wes K

The ORD 9 lists different part numbers, but I believe this is because the rear shocks had rock guard plates spot welded onto them.
Front & rear shocks on the M38 are both the same length. _________________ Owen
