depending on what you want or need for your jeep, there looks to be some good salvageable parts on this one. the axle tube on that diffy looks suspect though; like a tube slid over the original. if it's not too far, I guess it might be worth a look. I couldn't tell from the pics, but if it's cdn, grab the car# off the frame anyways. _________________ Frank 1952 M38 Cdn CAR 52-31812,1952 M38 Cdn F100005, 1967 Jeepster, 1999 XJ, 1999 TJ " rubiCLONE"
If you really need the tub and frame go with an offer of $800 and let him keep the tires, wheels and roll bar. _________________ Wes K

Windshield, tailgate, seat frames, hood-fenders, inst cluster, radiator...
they're always worth just a look if not too far away.
Like Wes says $1500 is high, offer him 1/2. At any rate get
numbers off it for the D-base.. _________________ keep 'em rollin'

yeah he is a guy I have dealt with before, he seems to come up with pieces now and then. I am going to try to arrange something. Pouring rain right now, going to see if it is somewhere dry to look at.
Did you end up buying this? I too am in the area and in the market for an early military Jeep, though the wife isn't quite on board yet.
