Thanks Brett. The reason for this one as an idea is that it is new. I have worries of buying a used heater and having core leaking or something.
My final project does not need to be like original so I don't mind throwing green paint on an accessory and be ok with it. _________________ 1952 M38 project

My other thoughts are where do you plan on mounting it? It might not fit up to your expectations. The Mutt units are a shoe-in for the mounting. There really isn't any real estate under the dash unless your battery box is gone. It's output is 12k BTU compared to 20k BTU of the Mutt unit. It might not keep up the heat loss of a canvas tops enclosure, I could be wrong though.
There really isn't much to these heater units if they spring a leak it just a matter of soldering then up. Either way, there is a bit if work involved to put them in. _________________ Brett

Thanks for that info. I do like the size of your heater. Nicely done _________________ 1952 M38 project
