Can someone tell me what the approximate weight would be for the tub of the A1? I am planning on pulling it this week and need to know how much help to line up.

I searched but did not find the answer.

Thanks,

Chris

Me and my wife could just barely lift it out of the trailer and into the garage (took a few stops along the way but we made it). Neither of us are in particularly great shape. So - two people in decent shape can do it. Tailgate end is heavier than cowl end.

The tub of my CJ3B weighted 212 pounds.
I can't see a lot of difference.

When I was working on Jeep 1 (a repro M38 tub on a CJ frame) I took the tub off myself, but at that point I wasn't worried about marring the paint. I took out the steering column, shift tower and transfer shifters for clearance. Putting the refurbished tub back on took 4 people, one on each corner - an easy lift. Good luck with your project!
