There were only three M38A1 frames. Main differences were grill hinge mounting and front frame rail boxing style. The only change on tub mounting was the later A1's did not use #1 mount.

What about that big outrigger style you sometimes see on eBay that should go on the passenger side. I have also seen this larger mount on other pictures. Actually looking closely at the pictures of this mount, it seems to be a regular body mount with a U-channel added on top.
I am not that well versed on the M38A1 CDN1, 2 & 3 frames. If you look at Wayne Hingley's frame on his Maple Leaf post it creates a wee bit of confusion. Here's is a composite I did of his 67 M38A1CDN2 frame before & after resto:
