TACOM NICP and DLA send lots of parts to DRMO for lots of reasons. Since these are 8 years old, it could be just an overstock situation. Or a latent defect was found. Or a new configuration was developed. Or they are shelf life items and are scrapped when that comes due. It would take research to know at this point. For the price, just buy one and test it.
Just bought them. |

I got mine yesterday; they are fine. i suspect just disposed due to overstock. We can only keep so much in inventory if the demands do not support it; it costs money to keep items in depot storage that do not get enough demand. Metrics are briefed on excess inventory monthly. |

Yeah, mine were pristine in the package too. Checked them electrically......no issues. Sure wish my A1 used Packard connectors.......I seem to fall over them everywhere and they're cheap. Components with Douglas connectors are getting scarce, the connectors are expensive and they're a $%#$^ to assemble the connection. My next MV is going to be Packard.........unless it's a tank.
regards,
