dpcd67, you are correct on the paint chip being semi gloss. I should have been more specific when posting. I was referring to the GCI AJP late WW2 semi gloss 34070.

Actually the semi-gloss version of 34070 is 24070 ( 3 = flat, 2 = semi-gloss).

It is the closest match to the original Willys factory color code 2430.

But, YES 2430 is sold today.

AJP sells Gillespie Late WWII semi-gloss that represents their equivalent of 2430.

Yesterday we, myself and my father, disassembled most of the front end and windshield. Prepping for tub and engine removal. Im more than pleased with how little rust was found but I did break a few bolts. It wasn't my fault I swear I was only using a 6 inch box wrench. haha, only 2 fender bolts and a battery box, it was surprising how easy they snapped considering I soaked with Kroil the day before. I plan to post pics, have to start an online account. posted some on the G since I can upload.

There are a few better chooses for penetrants. The two I like most are PB Blaster and Mouse Milk.

I received my green book M38 Reference Guide today. This book is nothing short of amazing with the amount of information. I thank anyone here and on the G that contributed.

Engine is in the frame and running. Got new tires and waiting on a carb kit. Making progress on the body, will try to get pics soon.
