|
|
I'm a new owner of a 1954 M170. after searching the web for parts it looks like I may need to fabricate some parts. I thought I would start with something easy like the support. Does anyone know the distance from the dash to the center line of the support? Thanks for your help. Gary |

Would love the answer myself, my 61 doesn't have any of the ambulance gear besides the tailgate |

Thanks for the reply. I have scaled up some dimensions from the technical manual photographs and others on the internet. I haven't had time to mock one up yet. If it looks good, I'll send you the specs. I have a tailgate but it doesn't have the holes for the litter.

I should have access to my M170 this weekend, or send me the part number for the grab bar and I may have dimensions on file. Nevermind it's 685299
I'll check for dimensions. |

Thanks, That would be awesome if you could, hope it turns out alright.
My tailgate has the holes but someone cut the extra bracket off the top for the third litter. _________________ 61 M170 |

I'll have to fix the oil leaks first... well after the brakes that are supposed to arrive tomorrow, drives around the yard OK without them but not recommended. _________________ 61 M170 |

Would anyone know the dimensions of the litter rack floor channels? They appear to be about 3 inch c channel by my eye BUT eye ball measuring an image doesn't always pan out in the wash. _________________ 61 M170 |

Yeah, that's one of the photos I used to scale up the dimensions. I'm a woodworker, not a metal fabricator so I'm going to make a prototype this weekend using dowels. |

Yeah, I struggled with it. The actual file size was 2 megs as hosted on the 503 site, but was somehow reduced when linked.
If you want to PM me an email address maybe I can use wetransfer to send a full resolution copy. |
