Thanks for the add. I have a 1953 M38A1 that I've recently acquired. It looks to be pretty complete but it is missing the carburetor. In it's previous life it was a CHP jeep. I don't think it was much use in a pursuit but....

I'm a WWII jeep and Mighty Mite guy so this is totally new to me. I'm excited to get started on it. Images are huge so I'll post links.

Welcome aboard. This has been a great forum for me over the past many years.
Did you see this listing for a carb- https://www.ebay.com/itm/374094547555?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649

Welcome to the forum.

The ol jeep doesn't look too bad, don't see any rust or bad body damage.

Looks like you're missing the air cleaner as well, should be mounted in the corner between the passenger fender and firewall.

Thanks fellas.

The air cleaner is sitting in the back along with the horn, headlights some wiring and some other goodies.

I did see the eBay carburetor. The carburetor might be there too although I didn't see it.

The tub is very solid. I did not see any rust at all. I'll be getting it this weekend and will know more about what I have.

Having sat out in the open with the hardtop strapped on likely saved a lot of headaches down the road. The T90 is notorious for filling with water in rigs left uncovered in the open.. nice save sir!

nice! welcome.

I am an Oregon transplant... I came to Coos Bay/North Bend Oregon as a kid, moved away, came back to Hillsboro Oregon, and joined the Coast Guard after high school- moved away, transferred to Coos Bay/North Bend, transferred away again. My great grandparents lived in Klamath Falls from the 40's till 1999.

Family still in OR. I just happen to be in VA now.

Look forward to seeing the work on this jeep.
