At least these sky-high prices of jeeps will not raise the property taxes on my jeep like the housing boom has done with real estate property taxes on my house. _________________ 1951 M38

You can't build one for much less than that...if you start off with a $8-10K run of the mill Jeep and take it to that level you might be over that price and that's still doing most of it yourself...

Crossing the block at the 2009 Scottsdale Auction, this 1951 Willys represents the military roots of the Jeep. The Army Green Jeep sports telephone, radios, an operating siren, gas can, helmets and more. The ’51 Jeep sold for a final price of $104,500.
