I had to replace the passenger side panel. I need to replace the slave bucket . does any one have the Measurment from the front of the panel and top of panel . close would be good.

I have a 1954 M38A1. I'm not aware of this geometry changing substantially over the production run, but I am not sure.
Edge of panel to center is shown below. I'd appreciate it if someone else could check.
I assume you saved the "bucket" although I am not sure how much you were able to save of the right side panel. The right side panel is formed so that the top surface of the bucket lip / flange sits coplanar with with the top surface of the right side panel.
The actual receptacle housing / "bucket" is a formed/drawn part.

For what it's worth, I just checked mine, which has all original panels.
I agree with the photo above...on the right of the photo, it is 1 3/4 inches from the fender seam to the beginning of the indentation.
From the top fender seam to the hole, it looks to be 1 1/2 inches. _________________ 1955 M38A1 MD 82551
