I am Canadian, but just purchased my M38 from Missouri. Named it Sam (after Uncle Sam).

Came up with a name this weekend "Rattlecan"because so far eveytning is painted with Krylon camo paint, olive drab. At $4.44 a can at Walmart its a lot easier then mixing and spraying with a gun. Someday she'll get a real paint job but for now it's a major improvement over rust.

In an effort to appease my wife on the purchase of my M38, I named it after her, "Lady Lois". She has mellowed considerably

Well, as Brother Dave Gardner once said, "Everything's legal in Mississippi, if you can get away with it."

My M38 is "copper".
My boss told me as long as I took all the trash from the job site I could have the copper, that is where I got the money to start rebuilding the motor/brakes. So, all my buddys call it "ole copper"

I'm with DJ on this one. The purple jeep, is blue but has a purple tint in the sun and now the green one. Just painted my m38 chassis so green enough for me for the name.

Not much imagination here when it comes to Jeep names: the "A1", the "5" and the "6".

Same with our dog. We gave him a name, but I usually just call him "dog".

I didn't name a Jeep for my wife, but, I bought her one!

The '63 CJ5 is her's. Really! And she likes it! She now wears Jeep hats and shirts ("Real Women Drive Jeeps!"), our grand daughter calls it "Grandma's Jeep", and my wife even made up a song about all of us "going down the road in Grandma's Jeep. Beep! Beep!" Stop by some time and we'll sing it for you. Cool

I named my '52 M38 "Lucky" for two reasons. Firstly, bumperette markings reveal it was HQ vehicle 7 (lucky I guess?). And secondly, I call her Lucky because it was a really lucky find. Very clean, original condition and I picked it up at just the right time. Everything just seemed to line up and I think it was a Lucky find. Very Happy
