The only good thing about this jeep is that it helped me wake up this morning by playing "find what doesn't belong." Unfortunately I was exhausted by the end…
Bubba had fun with this one, and they're passing it off as authentic. _________________ Jordan

I'm a bit surprised they took this lot on. They usually want pictures before they accept it. Then have a representative of theirs that is knowledgeable say yea or nay. This is a hodge podge of parts and someone may get screwed. Sorta like the CJ3B that Barrett Jackson sold with a machine gun. 1500.00 to consign it, and 10% buyer and seller premium. When sold, they list the results which include their premium they charge the seller to make it look like it brought more. Like mentioned, Bubba put whatever he wanted on this poor thing.

A friend of mine made this observation:
"That's the post war French model. They kept reproducing them or rebuilding them not sure which and kept them in service for a long time after we went to the newer models. I saw a pic before in a history of the Jeep book I had.. It's got a lot of later gen parts and obviously a M38A1 engine."
That being said...it's still not an MB
Someone is going to get hosed.. _________________ M38 CDN 52-30105
