Does anybody have evidence for production dates and quantities of the M100 trailer?

Broke down by manufacturer (Dunbar-Kapple, Strick, etc) and/or by service (Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force) would be interesting.

I've searched and researched this but have only seen some opinions that they were mainly made 1950 to 1954 and maybe a few later on in the 50's. No numbers and nothing solid to back it up.

Not every jeep rated a trailer (or did they?) so the numbers must be less than M38 and M38A1 production during the same time frame?

Questions lost to history?

There are a handful of Data Bases around but I have never seen any Gospel data on productions figures or serialization. If you dig up the several data bases you will see the irregularities in the serial numbering which very often makes no sense at all.

There aren't a lot of M100 trailer clubs out there. The WWII Bantam & Willys trailers have a good following.
