Well Im new to this whole posting thing I have been working on and off on a 53 A1 hood # 20998427 VIN# MD76239 late model front end and bat cover but early frame with no #s stamped it was given to a fire dept then sold at county auction in MO. I traded for it with whole in side of block and had to find a engine to have rebuilt. (has not been started yet) I have done a basement body off repair. did not touch running gear only had 35957 showing and all seemed to be in good shape. I have sanded down through the green and red to find the original # and stenciling intend to put back as was in service. I am just finishing up assembly should have ready to start in a few weeks buying batterys
tomorrow have the electrical to finish up a few things like heater to install antifreeze fuel lines and hopefully it will want to start. pix to come when i figure that out. Thanks for the Website it is great.

Just seeing this, as I don't get on the forum much anymore, but thought I'd check how your A1 is coming along? I'm in NWA as well, and close to finishing my A! - hope to see you out & about in yours!
