First off... Im new here, HI!
I just nabbed a NOS Arctic Grill cover and hardware kit. Ive only seen a small handful of photos of the cover actually installed on either Korean war era or modern restorations. None of which give me a clear shot of where the mounting hardware is installed. The tech bulletin leaves a lot to be desired... I kind of assume its just naturally where the spring stretches with some tension.
Shot in the dark, Just wondering if anyone has any reference photos of the clip/spring install locations in the wheel well before I start drilling?
Based on the instructions there is a lot of latitude given for their final location with no precise or detailed illustration or verbage offered in the instructions. Depending on wether you are reading TB 9-2855-2 or PM-6939 they even suggest just hooking the two fender springs to each side's fender support channel. It is obvious that no two jeeps would be identiclle.

Thanks for the photo. Ive seen the springs fastened directly to the support channel but for my use it seems like it be a good way to loose a spring and chew up the paint. I guess I will just see where it naturally lies on my Jeep and go from there.
