Here's a pic of the hold downs painted. They come with some rubber isolator pads to protect your cables from making contact with the hold down. Everything is sturdy and well built.
Depending on your battery dimensions - you might max out the threads on the factory J hooks trying to tighten the batteries down. I solved it on mine with some foam tape between the battery and hold down bracket.
