Hi with the Willys engineers not requiring a flexible coupling on the down pipe, is it okay to tighten the rear body mounting clamps tight so there is no movement to stop any annoying vibration noise between the clamp and the pipe?
Or would this cause some part to fracture over time with engine movement?
Any help would be appreciated.
Horse.

Thanks for that. I had to form a sleeve as when the clamp was fully tightened it was still too large to clamp the pipe tight, but with the sleeve it is nice and solid with no vibration.
