Putting the engine back in. This piece was removed by someone that is no longer remembered where it was from. The piece looks like the clutch throw out but it isn't cause it's in already. It attaches to a V groove on the frame and just hanging now.... Does it go through the Clutch mount:? Video added....
The cable is shown in the bottom right corner of the tech manual photo. _________________ Ron D.

So it just attaches to the bottom of the engine? I thought it may go there but is it to just hold to engine in place? does not seem to be alot holding it back but that V groove...

It is there to help with the engine staying in place during high torque instances. Prevents motor twisting too much when under heavy load... _________________ Hal, KB1ZQ

The stay cables geometry is not favorable to any serious level of side to side torque control. It's primary function is to keep the fan from hitting the radiator during heavy braking or the jeep hitting something straight forward. _________________ Wes K
