anybody out there ever hear of a test set known as ste-ice r. it is a test set for m series vehicles. i got it as surplus and it's missing a few pieces, like the tach adaptor. (i'm banking on wes for an answer on this one) so far the only thing i can check with it is battery (i can do that with any vom)i was told to sell it the govt required some things to be removed. i can't see a tach adaptor being a matter of national security.in particular i'm looking for the tach adaptor, current probe, pressure transducer and ignition adaptor. i also have the tm if any body is interested. anybody know where to get this stuff?
It's a nice test set. I've been keeping my eyes open for a reasonably priced and complete unit. Every set I have seen on the market has been missing a lot of parts. I don't think it's a government hold back. I bet they ended up in motor pool mechnic's tool kits.
Try Kevin Emdee at Star Electric and Frank's Surplus for pieces. _________________ Wes K
