Could someone provide the measurements listed using the photos as a guide. Email me your answers. Please indicate weather your bows are original or reproduction, M38 or M38A1 and if repop do you know who produced them.

Wes,
Did you get any replies about this? I will be in Phoenix this week end but will get some measurements for you next week. I am not sure if my bows are original or repro. They came with my Jeep.
No. Getting a response to a survey or a poll question on any of these forums is like pulling teeth. Everyone wants to use the free knowledge on these forums but very few wish to provide any help.
This is the most disappointing facet of owning and operating a site like this. The second most disappointing facet is a new member applicant pissing and moaning that asking him to reply to our verification email with his real name and email is
Yes,
Please send the measurements available from your original bows and when you recieve them from the new reproduction bows. Also let me know who the repro Bow manufacturer is.

Wes, I've been out of town, but I promise to measure and report back this weekend!
Out of curiosity, what do you need the info for and how is it going to be used? I'm always trying to learn something. _________________ Troy Davis

We have a member who has an original set in rough shape and needing a rebuild with some sections broken off and missing. I don't have any bows around here right now. I have an arctic top going on my current M38 project and my M38A1 has been sold for some time. _________________ Wes K

Brian, this is from the hole at the bottom where the "T" bolt goes to the hole in the front frame member for the windshield brackets... Correct... want to be sure on this as I Do Not want to mess it up... _________________ Hal, KB1ZQ

Hey Buddy,
It’s from the hole at the bottom of the short bow that the bolt goes in,
that ties the two bows together, to the hole near the top where the horizontal rod goes in.
