Hey,

On the rear frame cross member that is attached to the frame which the bumperettes bolt to: I am looking for measurements for the holes.

Mine was partly cutt of and had some extra holes. It was good enough to use to get the piece mounted onto the frame with the holes for the bumperettes and pintle hook, but I am trying to figure out what holes were extra and what were original.

Does anyone have a clear photo of this part without all the attachments and with measurements?

Hi Ryan, I have a Repo rear cross member from midwest millitary that I have not yet installed. I don't know if you know John Bizal but this guy is extremely precise about the parts he makes. I can measure it or maybe make you a template or photo it for you. MY origoinal was pepered with holes and had one end missing . John has the whole kit available for a reasonable price . Let me know how I may help, Don

Don,

I know John Bizal.
I bought my reproduction rear cross member a few years ago. I think the new stuff is better from what I hear.
The one I currently have on my jeep came with just the minimum holes to mount it. I still have the original, but it is in much the same shape as yours.

If you can send me a photo. Does it come with all the holes pre-drilled? ( holes on the top side for tub mounting, large hole in the rear)

thanks

Hey,

Are the angles on each end of the frame piece the same?

Mine had the long end cut short.

The replacement frame piece I put on my jeep a few years ago has the same angle, but the passenger side is longer, with the same angle cut on each side.

Hi Ryan, I dug out The extra cross member in my shed . Took some pictures of it on the kitchen table (under severe protests from the wife). I found that this one too is offset to the passenger side and the angles are slightly different on each end. I was thinking of putting this one on ebay and buying the new kit from John. Interested? I can make you a cardboard temtlate if you like . I will email the pictures, Don

The left hand offset & angle difference is a left over from the civvy version which put the license plate slot holes there. Can you email me the photos and measurements as well?
