This jeep is a 1953 usmc m38a1 jeep. It is complete and original . It runs well, needs brakes, clutch is sticky (maybe just needs ran) and body tub (needs front floors) somebody with welding skills could probably repair it. This is an excellent canidate to restore with either a good original tub or a repro tub. Its all there no hassling on ebay to find all the little brackets and gadgets cause it has all those. ALL top bow brackets, top bows, top bow to windshield rods, rear seat, b.o drive light, lifting shackles and brackets, all 5 original wheels and tires, windshield frame, front fenders( excellent shape) hinged grill, hood all in great condition. Has NOS fuel pump installed all original 24v components and carb. ALL original USMC Data plates with clear North Carolina MD Jeep title. Has original usmc rear cross member with shackles (excellent condition). Original front bumper in good condition with exception of drivers side which has a small bend that is easily straightened.
