|
|
Can anyone help me out with the dimensional data on the spacers (items 15,16.& 17) shown such as Length, ID and OD? The field expedient configuration of a stack 'o washers has reeked havoc on my radiator slamming against the top of the bell crank!
Click the image for a larger view.
Thanks,

Had the same problem with my m38a-1 when I first got it. Had to have the bottom of the radiator fixed. Here's what I've been able to garnish from this site so far:
Hope that helps.

I don't think I have an album here but please feel free to copy the picture and use it however you see fit......I think the info came from you in the first place.

I would like a copy of this but the picture is not coming up. I am at the stage where i need to make a rubber bushing for the grill mounting. If someoone would put it in thier photo gallery on this site I would appreciate it. _________________ 1955 M170

I know this is an old thread, but in case anybody needs the rubber doughnuts, Pete Debella has them (doesn't have the rest of the parts though) for $5/ea. I only had one of the originals left and the frame had eaten through the steel bushing. |

Shoot, I wish we had a Graingers, or anything like them local - all we have is Walmart, Home Depot and Lowes and a couple of small town hardware stores for stuff like that. You can't beat Graingers and Mcmaster Carr for any kind of hardware - I've ordered from both a couple of times. I found a piece of pipe with the correct dimensions for the sleeve and had the original bolt, nut and washers. |
