Was the application the same for both switches and they were just built by different vendors or was there different applications?

The part number is the same, 7368702 however they are different!

Actually the 7368702 is the Ordnance PN and represents a mil spec. The switches function the same and are interchangeable. That Bendix mark is rare. Most Bendix switches from the 50's had Scintilla on them.

Thanks WesK

I will use the non Bendix one on my jeep as I am building a M38CDN from a bunch of parts.
The frame I have was a Canadian one with the CAR# stamped into the frame.

I will probably put the Bendix one on EBay as I am cleaning out my stock of used parts.

Cheers
