Does anybody know if you can attach new civy cable ends to an original 24 volt distributor?

Distributor works well and I wanted to keep it but the thread's have worn & stripped over years and I am thinking of just changing over to new cost effective spark plugs & cables!

Just buy a new outer cover... most vendors carry them.

Yes the civvy wires are easily adaptable to the old military cap. Just take the cap to the autoparts store with you and select boots that will fit it and the wires snugly. Try to avoid modern resistor plug wires and get steel core Packard 440 type wire and build each plug wire separately. You want to keep overall resistance down to a minimum.
