Where can I buy quality brake lining replacements? I bought some off an online vendor that sold me Omix-Ada brand and the darn holes in them don't even line up with the steel shoes! Stuff like this I just don't get, they are worthless unless you file the holes to fit. _________________ Brett

RockAuto had a good brand that fit well for the M38( Raybetos 76PG)
check the part# to be sure. That is for the shoe and lining, At the
time it was cheaper to replace both. |

Do you still have your original shoes as cores? Have them relined by Then And Now Automotive, White Owl or other restoration supply shop.

Yes, I have the original steel shoes. I was able to line them myself. _________________ Brett

I used to have a '42 GPW that I would have a Monroe Muffler shop reline the shoes for me. |
