I'm currently in San Antonio visiting my daughter and her husband at Lackland AFB. On the way from Michigan I swung thru Bowie, Texias to visit RAPCO and purchase a couple of gallons of paint and a set of top bows. My idea was to save on the prohibitive cost to ship such items.

RAPCO doesn't always answer their phone or respond to emails but they are still there and hard at it. I had to stop at a gas station for directions because they have no sign at the road. Their business is mail order and although they can deal with walk-ins like me, they are not really set up for it.

There are piles and boxes of parts everywhere and a large quantity of paint. They showed me their setup for filling spray cans (from the gallons) and I was impressed with the care they take. All spray paint is filtered before going into the can which should help reduce clogging. I've had great results with their paint and perhaps that is part of the reason why.

All in all it worked out well to stop on the way to San Antonio. Now, if it will stop raining and warm up I will have something to crow about when I get back to Michigan.

Wishing you all a Merry Xmas and a prosperous New Year!

Tim
