I was enjoying the huge block of historical Jeep pictures, and drooling, when I was amazed to notice the hood blocks on the early M38's . some are square, and some are stepped. What's with that????????? First time I've ever noticed that. John

What I see a lot is during the restore process is when I start in on another portion of the restore I really start to tune into the details and notice stuff I hadn't seen before.

The stepped blocks were modified per the heater kit installation instructions to accomadate the wiper motors when they were moved to the top of the windshield to make room for the defroster box.
