OK, I did a search but couldn't find the answer to my question so here goes...

Are the wheel well mounted patent plates held on by screws or rivets? If the latter, what are the rivets made of?

Thanks!

Tim

#@$%@, that Wes is GOOD, but I got confused on that one! Check out:

Page 338, ORD 9 SNL G-740

PLATE, name, patent and serial number (less serial
number)
128273 SCREW, TAPPING, pan-hd, gimlet-pt, sh-met-thd,
S,cd or zn-pltd, No. 6 (0.138)-18 x s (superseded by
SCREW, HlOl-0161790)

161790 SCREW, tapping, cross-recess-pan-hd, gimlet-pt,
shmet-thd, S, cd or zn-pltd, No. 6 (0.138) x 7s (supersedes
SCREW, HlOl-0128273)

I was gonna ask that question later, when I had to put it all back together.

The first screw is a slotted head for a flat tip screw driver and the second screw is a cross point head for a phillips screwdriver.
