Cables are $35 each plus shipping. I am using the 2nd one from the top for my Jeep. The top one is 4' long. Not correct for the M38 but will work for those who want a cable but don't need to be 100% correct. The bottom 2 are 2' long. The 3rd one from the top is almost 1" thick. The bottom one is correct for the M38A1.

Is it possible you can share more info on each cable? It would help to get this data up here on the web site. IE exact length of each cable assembly tip to tip. Exact diameter of the cable shield. Any part numbers found anywhere on each cable/connector.

Dave,

I am aware of that post. Thats some of the info. I was looking for a wee bit more data,

[quoteHere are the cables that I have.

Top cable 4' long x 5/8"
MS-51334-6
MFG HALLETT

2nd down 3' long x 3/4"
no tag

3rd down 2' x 13/16"
8329736

4th down 2' x 5/16"
no tag ][/quote]

Are the measurements tip to tip? Are they nominal lengths or accurately measured lengths? Do you have any of the connector shell part numbers?

Measurements are tip to tip. I have supplied all of the tag information. I will look at the connectors to see if there is any information stamped on them. The diameter measurements were done using a tape measure. I have a caliper and will make more accurate measurements of the diameters this week end.

Also, the fat 2' cable coating is soft but cracking. Has some electrical tape on it. It's a good cable just too short for my M38. Should work on an A1.
