Are you looking for a military distributor or a civie one or do you care? Did you check E-Greed?

Doesn't Matter, either one. Just trying to get it going. Preferably the same one, as I have already purchased the Electronic ignition.

The military distributor is a 24 volt unit. You'll need to consider that since the Pertronix units are voltage sensitive 6/12/24. You could adapt the military distributor to use a civilian external coil but that would sure burn up the hard earned cash quick.

A civie distributor is going to be a lot easier to find and cheaper than a military one. The plugs and plug wires for the military distributor are also going to be harder to find and more expensive. If you really don't care which you use, I'd strongly recommend that you use the civiie distributor and parts.

There's no reason that you can't run a civie distributor on 12 or 24 volts but you'll need to find a 24 volt coil or add a larger dropping resistor if you run a 12 volt coil on 24 volts.

If you only need parts you can find that info I have loaded here:
http://www.willysmjeeps.com/v2/modules.php?set_albumName=album288&op=modload&name=gallery&file=index&include=view_album.php

Civvy service data and IPL for the IAD4008 and WWII MB ORD 9 IPL for the IAD4008 & IGW4703

Excellent detailed overhaul instructions and test data can also be found in TM 9-1825B.

The Kaiser civvy service manual for the CJ's SM-1002 also has good instructions.
